About Kenya Stroke Society
A multidisciplinary organization dedicated to reducing the burden of stroke in Kenya
The Kenya Stroke Society (KSS) is a multidisciplinary organization dedicated to reducing the burden of stroke in Kenya through advocacy, prevention, research, education, and improved clinical care. We bring together health professionals, researchers, and advocates united by a common goal — to advance stroke awareness, treatment, and recovery across the country.
KSS partners with the Ministry of Health, hospitals, universities, and global stroke organizations to promote early recognition and emergency response to stroke, develop national stroke care guidelines, establish acute stroke centres, and build professional networks.
